Our mission is to be a professional, valued, and active contributor to the Banning Community. Through collaboration, advocacy, and collective action, we aim to foster positive change and improve the working environment for our members and the educational opportunities for our students.
Our vision is to become collaborative partners with the district and community. Working together to provide excellence as professionals in guiding our students through their educational years, so they may make a positive impact in our community.
The Banning Teachers Association was chartered in 1970 and is a local affiliate of CTA and NEA. BTA is recognized as the exclusive representative of all non-management certificated personnel in the Banning Unified School District.
